UEA AUGUST 2021

The unique diversity present in the University of East Anglia provides a photographers dream. Glass, steel, concrete and the natural world come together to form a conglomerate of aesthetically pleasing textures and angles. Coupled with a quiet campus only walked by a handful of soon to be students as they prepare for their academic year.

It’s easy to get caught up in a single structure or to find yourself camping at a single location, waiting for the perfect subject to add life to your frame. It’s equally as easy to pass by the ‘magic’ moments without first considering the possibilities behind the lens.

For honing your skills in architectural photography, I would recommend the UEA above all other locations in Norfolk. The brutalist lines soften by nature are both a challenge and a pleasure to work with.

I hope you enjoy this series of images as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
